Please help us welcome Linda!
Linda grew up in Brunswick and worked as an executive assistant in the Religious Ministries Department (Base Chapel) at the Brunswick Naval Air Station for twelve years until the closing of the base. She graduated in May 2011 from the University of Maine at Augusta with a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health and Human Services degree and a minor in Geriatric Human Services; she also received a University of Southern Maine certificate in Foundations of Holistic Health. Linda took most of her courses at University College at Bath/Brunswick, while doing so she volunteered as a student office assistant and served as a Midcoast Center for Higher Education Student Association officer.
Recently Linda volunteered at Meals on Wheels assessing consumers and delivering meals to the elderly in the region for two years. She continues to volunteer at the Coastal Humane Society, returning lost cats to their human companions and finding new homes for strays.
Linda brings a distance learning student’s perspective, excellent customer service, and many years of office experience to UCBB. Please help us welcome her to the Center in this new role!
