Interactive television (ITV) sites offer live or delayed viewing of university classes.

Our ITV site in Wiscasset offers access to evening ITV courses and day-time offerings are available upon request. Courses available at our Lisbon site are offered through delayed viewing.

Wiscasset

University College at Bath/Brunswick collaborates with Wiscasset Adult and Community Education to provide access to University of Maine System courses in Wiscasset via interactive television (ITV). Wiscasset is now offering access to day and evening ITV options. Be sure to register early since day-time class numbers are created on demand (and are limited to one per time slot). Email Arlene Smith if there is no class number on MaineStreet for the daytime course you would like to take.

In an effort to save money on commuting costs and to keep with the university goal of thinking “green”, students who live in Alna, Boothbay Harbor, Bristol, Damariscotta, Dresden, Edgecomb, Newcastle, Nobleboro, Richmond, Waldoboro, or Whitefield are encouraged to take ITV classes closer to home.

Lisbon

University College at Bath/Brunswick collaborates with Lisbon Adult and Community Education to provide access to University of Maine System courses in Lisbon Falls via delayed viewing of interactive television (ITV) classes. This means that you can view your course lecture from a computer as a videostream on Blackboard, faculty permitting.  You would travel to the site to take exams, hand in and collect assignments, use computers, and more. Contact the center or site for additional  information.

In an effort to save money on commuting costs and to keep with the university goal of thinking “green”, students who live in Bowdoin, Brunswick, Durham, Lisbon, Lisbon Falls, Sabattus or Topsham are encouraged to talk with the Lisbon Falls site staff regarding using this method to take ITV classes closer to home.
