Linda works to create a welcoming environment at our business office and reception desk for students, faculty, staff and the larger community. She is a University of Maine at Augusta Mental Health and Human Services graduate and enjoys helping students learn to navigate University technology and systems. Linda also trains and supervises the Center’s student staff.

Linda manages the Center’s room scheduling and coordinates the online non-credit course offerings. Linda enjoys troubleshooting technology issues and is always available to assist students and faculty. She has a Bachelors in Education from the University of Arizona.

Shelley loves helping individuals realize their potential. She assists current and prospective students with a wide array of needs, including: admissions, degree options, transfer planning; financial aid; disability services; early study for high school students; placement testing; tutoring; career counseling; crisis intervention referrals; student leadership development; and successful academic skills. Shelley holds a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine and an undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Farmington. Tom aims to build an engaging and welcoming learning community among students, faculty and staff. He believes that earning a degree is an important step toward achieving one’s career aspirations and becoming economically self-sufficient. As director, Tom provides administrative leadership for all center programs and services and works to increase the center’s connections to employers and the greater Midcoast community. Tom is also available for advising, coaching and career guidance counseling. Tom is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer who holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers: The State University of New Jersey and a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College.
