Success Scholarship

The University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) is pleased to announce the availability of a Success Scholarship to students piggy bank speech bubblegraduating from the following Maine community colleges with an Associate’s degree in December of 2016: Central Maine Community College; Eastern Maine Community College; Kennebec Valley Community College; and Southern Maine Community College. Graduates from any of these community colleges are eligible for a scholarship worth $1,300 per academic year (half of which is awarded each semester) which can be renewed for up to four (4) semesters or until graduation from UMA, whichever comes first. The scholarship will be part of the student’s total financial aid package. Students must enroll in and complete at least twelve (12) credit hours each semester with at least a 2.5 grade point average to continue to receive the scholarship. There is no scholarship application to complete.

Also eligible for UMA Success Scholarships at the same level are:

• UMA students with 90+ credit hours (60 credit hours or more completed at UMA)

• Bridge Year Students and High School Aspirations Senior students with a 2.75 or higher GPA in UMA courses.
