Debora works to create an engaging community environment for students along with building relationships with local businesses and other organizations. Her passion is helping students to realize their own unique strengths in relation to their educational experience, and has done so since 1997. She is actively involved in the revitalization of the greater Katahdin Region. She enjoys travel with her husband, writing and photography, as well as the outdoors. Deb earned her B.S in Mental Health and Human Services from the University of Maine at Augusta and her M.Ed from the University of Maine at Orono in Higher Education Leadership and Counseling and is also a graduate of the Penquis Leadership Institute.
Amy enjoys assisting the director and faculty in relation to the daily operations at the center. She earned an Associates Degree in Business from the University of Maine at Augusta and continues her studies in the B.S. in Computer Information Systems program at UMA. She is married and has two grown children. Her son is a graduate from UTI and her daughter is currently in the Army. Amy enjoys any outdoor activities and spends time with her two young granddaughters. Amy began working with us at our Center since 2000.
