Adult Degree Completion Scholarship Fund
A fund to help Maine people complete their academic studies—which may have begun years ago, but were not completed for some reason. For adult students returning to college after an absence of three years or more, who are completing their very first baccalaureate degree.
The University of Maine at Augusta is offering this scholarship to students graduating from the following Maine community colleges with an Associate’s degree in December of 2016: Central Maine Community College; Eastern Maine Community College; Kennebec Valley Community College; and Southern Maine Community College.
Most financial aid is determined by need. You’ll be eligible for financial aid if you meet the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) eligibility requirements, enroll in at least six credit hours (usually two courses) and are admitted into a degree program.
Other sources of student financial assistance include the Finance Authority of Maine and The MES Foundation. Or you can contact a University System financial aid office or a University College Center advisor for more information.
