Ordering from UMA’s Bookstore
Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Books, syllabi, videotapes and other course materials for all courses delivered via technology may be ordered by mail, phone or fax, or online from the University of Maine at Augusta Bookstore. You can obtain order forms and a list of required materials for all courses at your nearest University center or site, or by calling the UMA bookstore at 1-800-621-0083.
Please consult the list of required materials before placing your order. Please note that syllabi and most course materials are NOT handed out in class. They must be ordered through the bookstore. (Although many online instructors distribute some materials via the internet, many of these courses also rely on bookstore-delivered materials.
Plan to order your books and course materials two to three weeks before the beginning of class to ensure their timely arrival (Mastercard, VISA, Discover). Please allow a minimum of five working days for delivery. Materials will be shipped by UPS to the street address provided (UPS will not deliver to PO boxes) or you may pick up your books in person.

How to order your textbooks if you are a Houlton student taking UMPI classes.
What You Need To Order Your Textbooks:
1. A copy of your class schedule with your student ID number.
2. A payment method or a voucher email detailing login information required for ordering-If you have third party payment.

Click on the above icon and continue to MBS Direct where you will purchase your textbooks.
When the book site opens, you will see the UMPI logo in the upper left hand corner.
Click in the Order Your Books window! You will see the windows below.

How would you like to pay for your order?
Pay with Institution’s Voucher or Student Financial Aid (SFA)
Requires your STUDENT ID and the VOUCHER ID from the email you would have received if this option is available to you. If the amount exceeds your available funds or is not covered, a credit card is required to complete the purchase.
The UMPI bookstore can be reached at 207.768.9572. The University has a “buy-back” at the end of each semester for students who do not wish to keep their books.
