UC Offers Program Variety for Educators

Educators and potential educators can choose from a variety of programs and courses offered at University College for the Spring 2013 semester, which begins this January. Courses are taught by University of Maine System instructors at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Most of the courses are delivered online. Students without high-speed internet access can participate in the courses at well-equipped computer labs at University College Centers.  Staff at the Centers offer support to all students who are new to online learning.

Programs range from a Master of Science in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Southern Maine to a certificate in Early Childhood Teacher from the University of Maine. Students who want to earn teacher certification can enroll in Elementary, Secondary and Special Education program pathways.
