Twenty-two UMA students from across the state plus instructor, Peter Lodge, will attend the 2017 Camden Conference February 17 – 19 as a part of this spring’s HTY 365 course. Each year adjunct faculty member, Peter Lodge, develops the content for HTY 365 around the annual theme of the Camden Conference (camdenconference.org).
This year’s topic, “Refugees and Global Migration: Humanity’s Crisis” is certainly topical and volatile. Over the years the Camden Conference has drawn some of the top names in US foreign policy and this year will be no exception. As a result of fundraising efforts from University College at Rockland, Bangor Savings Bank will provide scholarships to the Conference for all UMA students in HTY 365.
